For as long as I’ve been creating content for GetYourHealthUpThere, I’ve done so from this simple knowledge that wellness isn’t something you practice for thirty minutes daily and then abandon.  It’s not confined to your yoga mat, your meditation cushion, or the smoothie ingredients in your refrigerator.  The fact is that true wellness is weaved through every corner of your waking hours and that includes the spaces you inhabit,  both physical and digital.

Over the three years since I started my website GetYourHealthUpThere, we have explored gut health together.  We have navigated and tried meal prep strategies.  We’ve broken down complex wellness science into simple, practical steps.  And through it all, you’ve shown up with an openness that has made my health and wellness blog the most rewarding part of being a content creator.

Today, I’m sharing something that feels both exciting and rewarding.  I’m expanding GetYourHealthUpThere beyond content writing.  I’m opening a digital pattern store.

I hear what you might be thinking.  Pattern, like for fabric and what does they have to do with a wellness blog?  Stay with me, because the answer to this question is actually the real point of this new chapter.

A few months ago,  I caught myself pondering a new diversification route for GetYourHealthUpThere.  My thoughts race to the digital phenomenon and I pitched on AI-generated seamless patterns.  These patterns are carefully created and edited in a software app making them beautifully seamless for your print-on-demand and DIY projects whether for personal or commercial use.

Designers  and researchers are increasingly recognizing that our digital spaces need the same care we give our physical environments.  I realize also as a content creator, that crafting or creating motifs help bring balance to our daily lives.  We’re manifesting our needs in creative form.

This is where the idea for my pattern store was.  What if we could transform the screens we stare at into sources of calm rather than stress?  What if your phone wallpaper could function like a gentle breeze between meetings?

I started experimenting with AI-generated patterns as a personal practice – a way to wind down at the end of demanding days. And slowly, something shifted.  Those twenty minutes of pattern making become my favorite form of digital meditation.

The pattern I created began reflecting the basics I’d always championed in my writing, balance, nourishment, intentionally.  There were patterns that mimicked the gentle sway of eucalyptus leaves.  Pattern that captured the warmth of golden hour light.  Patterns that translated the feeling of a deep exhale into visual form.

Then the thoughts hit me, I wondered if I could share these?  For wellness creators, like myself, the landscaping is changing.  Traditional blogging faces new challenges with AI-generated flooding the internet.  The creators who strive are those who lean into what makes them unique.

For me as a content creator, that uniqueness has always been my ability to see wellness as holistic, as something that touches every aspect of a person’s life.  Digital patterns aren’t a departure from my mission.  They’re an expansion of it.  They’re a way to offer you something you can’t get from a standard blog post.  It is a tangible tool you can integrate into your daily projects.

I have designed this store with you in mind, with the specific ways wellness intersects with your everyday life.  I have outlined just a few ideas for how these seamless patterns might serve your project purposes.

For your phone and desktops, replace those cluttered wallpaper with something that calms your nervous system or is modern and minimalistic.  For your home workout space, print patterns to frame or display in the corner of your room where you roll out your yoga mat.  Let the pattern support the practice.

For your wellness journaling, use patterns as cover or inserts for your gratitude journal, your habit tracker, your meal planning notebook.  Make the act of planning your wellness feel beautiful.

For digital planners and vision boards, if you’re someone who maps out goals and intentions digitally, these patterns provide the visual foundation for a board that actually inspires rather than overwhelms.

For branding your own small business, many of you are coaches, practitioners, or creative entrepreneurs yourselves.  These patterns offer unique, non-generic backdrops for your own content and offerings.

Here’s what I want you to understand, my commitment to accessible wellness hasn’t changed.  I’m still the same creator who believes that health information should be clear, practical and free from unnecessary jargon.  I’m still here to help you navigate your wellness journey with confidence.

What’s changing is how I’m adding another aspect of my health and wellness blogging to pattern making.  Blogging helps you understand wellness intellectually.  Patterns help you experience it visually.  Together, they create a more complete picture of what it means to live a true healthy life.

Every transformation of a brand starts with a vulnerable question and that is, will my audience follow me?  Can I truly stand out in this new space?  I’ve sat with these questions and what I keep coming back to is that, sometimes, if not most times, change is good.  And especially in this new era of AI, one has to evolve with the technology.

The pattern store launches today.  It’s small for now with a curated collection of the designs that have meant the most to me personally.  But it will grow, just as this community has grown guided by your feedback and your needs.

I’d love for you to see what I’ve been creating.  Visit the new Pattern section/store on GetYourHealthUpThere and browse the collection.  Download a free sample and set it as your wallpaper for a week, or a fabric pattern for your phone or fashion apparel.  Notice how it makes you feel when you glance at your phone.

And then because this community has always been a conversation, come back, like, comment and share and tell me about your experience using my pattern design/s.  What colors calm you?  What patterns make you feel most like yourself?  Your answers will shape what comes next.

With gratitude
